Major Charges/Projects

The Awards Committee is responsible for selecting the recipients for the series of Best Abstract Awards, as well as the Allied Health Award, the Junior Investigator Award, the Presidential Award, the Lecturer Award, and the SHS Award.

Meeting Schedule

The Awards Committee conducts its business mainly via email and telephone after the Abstracts Committee provides the Awards Committee with the shortlist of award recipients. The Committee is active from the middle of January to the middle of February. The Awards Committee also meets in person during the Annual Meeting.

Committee Membership Status

ASFA members are invited to apply to serve on the Awards Committee by sending an email, stating their interest in joining the Awards Committee to asfa@apheresis.org. Please include a brief CV as an attachment to your email.

This Committee is specifically seeking additional MD and/or PhD members.
