    Facility Directory

In an ongoing effort to be cognizant of and responsive to the feedback and needs of the ASFA membership, the Board of Directors carefully considered and is happy to announce the launch of the new ASFA Facility Database.

Thanks to all the members who have completed the ASFA Facilities Survey, the new Facility Database has been developed to enable members to search on data and information that is most important to professionals in the field, such as the numbers and types of apheresis services that are performed all across United States, staffing numbers, and equipment that are being used at different facilities. This valuable resource will be an additional benefit to all ASFA members in the upcoming year.

As a token of appreciation, all participants who completed the survey before July 10, 2009 were entered a draw to win an iPod Shuffle MP3 Player. ASFA would like to congratulate Ardette Creeks as the winner of the iPod Shuffle!

Ms. Creeks is a registered nurse with a Hemapheresis Certification (HP) and over 23 years of experiences in the field of therapeutic and donor apheresis. She has contributed to the Facility Database by providing data on behalf of the Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center at Houston, Texas.

We Need your Input and Support!

The Facility Database thrives on contributions from professionals in the field of apheresis medicine.
