Major Charges/Projects
The Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Donor Subcommittee is a subcommittee that reports to the Apheresis Applications Committee.
The Subcommittee is working on the following projects:
- Simplifying donor criteria guidelines
- Simplifying venous access guidelines
- Addressing issues associated with pediatric allo HPC collection
- Developing an autologous donor Criteria questionnaire and guidelines
- Addressing issues associated with large-volume-leukapheresis for allo donor collections
Meeting Schedule
The Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Donor Subcommittee meets monthly via teleconference. The Subcommittee also meets in conjunction with the Apheresis Applications Committee monthly via teleconference and in person at the Annual Meeting.

ASFA members are invited to apply to serve on the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Donor Subcommittee by sending an email, stating their interest in joining the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Donor Subcommittee to asfa@apheresis.org. Please include a brief CV as an attachment to your email.
